Scheduling Core Returns

SCHEDULING A CORE RETURN

  • Returns greater than 19,000 lbs., will move as a full trailer load shipment. Returns that are less than 19,000 lbs., will be shipped LTL. Please note that same or next day pick up is not available.
  • Once the shipment is tendered to our preferred carrier a BOL will be provided by email.
  • No changes should be made to the return after submitting the request for pick up (i.e., additional skids or weight) unless coordinated with the Cummins-Meritor TMS team at Cummins.Meritor@uberfreight.com
  • For shipments under the Cummins-Meritor minimum requirements you must pay the return freight and ship using your own carrier.

Minimums:
  • Brake Shoes A minimum of 100 shoes and can be returned once a month. EXCEPTION - Shipments of 500 shoe cores or more can be returned multiple times per month.
Required information to schedule a core return:
Please make sure you have a Meritor account number or dealer code available as this is required to schedule a return.
  • Number of pallets
  • Weight of each pallet
  • Pallet dimensions
  • Location the cores are to be picked up
  • Location dock hours
  • Contact information for the pickup location
Please make sure to include a packing slip with your core shipment. Failure to send a packing list will delay the processing of the core return.
