Carrier Exchange Program

The Cummins Carrier Exchange Program increases flexibility to sell trucks from dealer stock. This program enables dealers to simply and conveniently exchange Cummins carriers or upgrade axles to include differential lock and/or a pressurized lube system (oil pump and filter) on stock trucks . Several important benefits of the program are:

  • Axle ratio flexibility to help eliminate potential lost sales
  • Opportunity to upgrade and add driver-controlled differential lock (DCDL) or pump
  • Rapid response to customer ratio requirements
  • Reduced paperwork
  • Full warranty on the exchanged carrier
Cummins ships to dealers a complete carrier, less input yoke, ready to install. This helps to significantly reduce installation time and expense. NOTE: All carriers are subject to a $250 US / $300 CDN PER CARRIER administration fee.

Reference above 'Sample' Axle Tag to ensure information you provide follows the correct format. The Axle Tag is located on the axle housing leg (could be front or back side) on a metal tag. Do not use the line sheet. Please have your Dealer Code available.
